New team member: Patricie Kyslíková
We are delighted to welcome Patricie Kyslíková to our team as a research assistant. With a background in social work and human rights, Patricie focuses on children and young people affected by social inequalities. She is now starting her Ph.D. in Media and Communication Studies at our institute, in which she will explore how music and sound shape the media experiences, sense of place, and belonging of Roma children and young people.
Patricie has contributed to several EU-funded projects in the past, including the Horizon Europe project Yourope, where she supported young people from diverse backgrounds in carrying out Community-Led Research and Action, including dialogue with policymakers.
Within WONDRE, Patricie will support participant recruitment, mixed-methods fieldwork, and data management, among other things. Her work will contribute to our research on children’s factual interests and how parents perceive and nurture them.
